ACE provides professional instruction in caregiving by state-approved instructors who provide up-to-date information, skills testing, and guidance for you to become a Direct Care Worker (DCW), as envisioned by the State of Arizona ( and All students earning a Direct Care Worker (DCW) qualification certificate will be recognized by any caregiver employer in the state of Arizona. The curricula used at ACE follow state and federal guidelines. Accordingly, ACE adheres to the Principles of Caregiving ( as the core of its Direct Care Worker (DCW) classes.

Let ACE Provide Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training For Your Agency

If the caregiving agency business where you work is contracted with the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS)—the Medicaid program in Arizona—but does not have an approved licensed Direct Care Worker (DCW) training facility, ACE can provide the caregiver training required.

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) training at ACE also provides the necessary training if your agency is contracted with the Department of Economic Security / Division of Developmental Disabilities. We provide the training required to care for individuals with developmental disabilities, and we also offer Prevention & Support and Article 9 classes. Article 9 is required by The Division of Developmental Disabilities. Caregiving courses at ACE exceed state and federal requirements.
